“I was reading the actual terms for Kinetic’s localized pricing and saw that the advertised starting rate isn’t what everyone gets everywhere. Depending on your street, the same 100 Mbps plan can cost as much as $49.99/mo, which is a long way from a budget option. And the AutoPay discount isn’t automatically added; you have to enroll separately, or you’ll wonder why your bill’s a few dollars higher than expected.
My advice to seniors: get your actual quoted price in writing, confirm AutoPay is really turned on once you’re signed up, and mark your calendar as most plans’ price guarantee only lasts a year before the rate can change.”

Free WiFi equipment is included on the Fiber 2 Gig Max plan, but that multi-gig plan usually isn’t recommended for seniors because of its higher price. On most plans, equipment is an extra $10.99/mo.
